Additional acoustics
Our artworks already noticeably improve the acoustics in a room as standard. In the standard version, they dampen an average of about 60% of the sound that hits them. For many rooms, this is already enough to reduce disturbing reverberation and create more peace and quiet.
Are you dealing with more reverberation or a room that just needs that little bit of extra damping? Then you can choose extra acoustics. Depending on your situation, three levels are possible:
- Essential - 60% damping – frame depth 4.1 cm
- Extra - 80% damping – frame depth 5.2 cm
- Ultimate - 100% damping – frame depth 7.2 cm
With the extra options, we add an additional layer of wool to the back of the artwork. The thicker this layer, the greater the sound absorption.
Visually, nothing changes about the artwork itself. Only the frame becomes slightly deeper. Otherwise, you won't see a thing — except for the fact that your room becomes audibly quieter and more comfortable.
