Ronald McDonald Children's Fund
We donate 1% of all orders we process to a good cause. We chose the Ronald McDonald Children's Fund because we know from personal experience how important this fund is for parents of a sick child.

Personal reason
In 2021, we became parents of twins. They were born 12 weeks prematurely at the LUMC in Leiden. We live about a 2.5-hour drive (one way) from Leiden, and due to the worrying situation, we were able to use the Ronald McDonald House near the hospital. It was comforting as parents to be close to our children, who had already had to adjust to such a medical and cold environment. Ronald McDonald Houses at other university hospitals are also located near the hospital, so you can be with your child in just 5 minutes.

What are they doing?
In addition to the homes where parents can be close to their children, several hospitals have established living rooms where parents can relax in a homely atmosphere and connect with each other to share experiences. These homes and living rooms provide peace and security, while the rest of the world for parents can feel uncertain. Parents can retreat there and enjoy some time for themselves. Despite everything, we look back on a wonderful time at the home and are grateful that it exists. Therefore, we want to continue our commitment to these homes and contribute in this way, so that parents can also use them in the future.
