A warm home away from home: Why we support the Ronald McDonald Children's Fund.

At Pieces of Art, everything revolves around a charming home. But we know from personal experience that sometimes home can feel incredibly far away. That's why we automatically donate 1% of every order to the Ronald McDonald Children's Fund.

Our world turned upside down

In 2021, our twins were born a full 12 weeks prematurely at LUMC in Leiden. As we lived a 2.5-hour drive away, the Ronald McDonald House just around the corner was our absolute salvation.

A warm embrace

While the hospital felt so medical and uncertain, here we found peace just five minutes from our vulnerable babies. We wish every parent in such a nightmare could have that secure anchor, a place to catch their breath.
