Echoes of Africa (Baukje van der Wal x Pieces of Art)

Echoes of Africa is more than art: it stands for new life, strength and hope, captured in color.
Bring this story into your home.

Ten years in Ethiopia left a lasting mark on Baukje. The women she met there, proud and resilient, became the inspiration for this collection. Together with Pieces of Art, she translated their stories into powerful portraits that bring warmth and meaning to any interior.

With Echoes of Africa, something is also given back. Part of the proceeds goes to Addis Alem, an organization that supports vulnerable families and young mothers in Ethiopia. For example, around €500 is needed to take in and support an underage mother, including housing, medical care and guidance.

This collection brings not only atmosphere into your home, but also hope to the place where the story began.
