Over de kunstenaar
“My artworks bring peace to a home, but my design process is a delightful chaos.”
Behind the scenes
Anna is the creative mastermind behind Pieces of Art and designs all the artworks. This process is anything but quiet: she prefers plenty of background noise. As soon as a new design is printed and cut into a 3D artwork, doubt creeps in. Is it beautiful? Is the shape right? That panic only disappears during the photoshoot. “When I see the very first artwork beautifully styled in front of the lens, everything falls into place.”

Design process
How does such a design come about? She draws her inspiration from her own surroundings. She effortlessly translates the flowing lines of a plant or the wings of a bird into a new design. She doesn't just design something to fill an empty wall. “It really has to move you,” she explains. “With my art, I want to immediately bring that warmth and atmosphere into the home.”
The Art of Imagination
What makes an artwork a true Piece of Art? “I want people to really be able to see all sorts of things in it, I call that The Art of Imagination,” Anna says. And where the collection used to consist mainly of calm, light colors, she is now increasingly opting for color. This way, she creates atmospheric eye-catchers that instantly bring every space to life.
