Colors

Undecided about the color or the right combination? No worries! Whether you prefer colorful, soft natural tones, or a calm base, there's always something for your interior. Below, we've briefly described all the colors to help you make the right choice!

Ivory
Ivory is a soft, white color best compared to off-white. This is our best-selling color and is primarily used for the inside of the artworks. In terms of combinations, it pairs well with Earthy Beige and Walnut, but in combination with a black frame, you get a bold look that frames the work beautifully.

Marble
Marble is a light, mottled color with a subtle pattern reminiscent of natural stone. The combination of soft white, beige, and walnut tones gives the artwork a luxurious and refined look. Marble is perfect to combine with Walnut or Deep Black as a frame, but also works beautifully with Ivory for a calm and tonal effect. Marble also pairs well with earthy colors, such as Soft Terracotta, Sage Green, or Yellow Ochre.

Earthy Beige
Earthy Beige is a sand color with a soft, warm, and approachable appearance. This color will give your space a neutral and calm touch. This color mixes easily with other similar colors, both light colors, such as Beige, and bright, colorful colors. Earthy Beige is the most commonly used frame color and is often combined with Ivory as artwork.

Beige
The color Beige is a soft, neutral, and accessible color. It combines easily with other colors, such as brown and white. The color is lighter than Earthy Beige and can be combined as artwork with Walnut and Deep Black. Sage Green also makes a beautiful, natural combination.

Walnut

Sage Green

The color brings tranquility to a space and feels light and fresh without being overwhelming. Sage Green combines beautifully with Beige and Ivory for a harmonious whole, but is also very nice to combine with Olive and Walnut for a natural and warm color palette.

Olive
Olive is a deep, dark green color with a warm and natural look. The color has a calm, earthy base and immediately gives a room more depth. Olive combines beautifully with Khaki and Sage Green for a natural ensemble, but also stands out strongly next to Ivory or Beige for a fresh contrast.

Deep Black
As the name suggests, this bold color is black. Combined with lighter colors, you can soften it or add accents. With a black frame around the artwork, you frame the work, making it stand out more.

Ocean Blue
Ocean Blue is a very deep blue color. In the light, the blue color will be more visible, but as dusk sets in, it sometimes even leans toward black. This color gives the artwork a regal appearance and combines well with Ivory and Marble for a fresh contrast, but can also work beautifully with Beige for a warmer overall look.

Forest Green
Forest Green is a very beautiful deep shade of green. If you want some color in your home, but not in too striking a way, this is how you do it! This color gives the artwork a subtle class. Forest Green combines beautifully with Sage Green and Khaki for a natural color palette, but also stands out strongly next to Ivory or Beige for a fresher contrast.

The power of a Piece of Art

We believe in a product that has minimal impact on our planet. That is why we want to burden the earth as little as possible with the artworks. The felt that we use is therefore made from recycled plastic bottles. Because the bottles are ground very finely, a soft but strong material (fibers) remains. You can still see the fibers because the works are not sprayed or painted. This keeps the appearance au naturel and you get an original look & feel and it can also be fully reused after use.

Acoustics
Because the material has an open structure, sound can be absorbed well. This also helps to improve acoustics! Do you want to know how you can improve the acoustics in your home? Then click on this link.

Sustainable and recyclable
The material with which the works are made consists of recycled plastic bottles and no new raw materials need to be used for this. After its life as an artwork, it can even be recycled again and given a new purpose. In this way, the material remains usable for a very long time. It does not stop with just the material of a Piece of Art. We also find the way of packaging important. For example, we carefully check whether the materials we use consist of renewed materials, are partially or fully recyclable, so that the artwork has a minimal impact on the earth or is amply compensated. Beautiful, isn't it?

Colorfast and wear resistant
Color is added while the material is being made. This allows the colors to penetrate deep into the fibers. The result is an evenly distributed color that is the same throughout. This means that no color difference can occur in the event of wear. The material is also UV-stabilized, which means that it does not discolor quickly when exposed to direct sunlight.

Maintenance free
Because the works are made of recycled bottles and therefore consist of plastic, it does not attract mold, bacteria or vermin. Moisture is not good for the product and causes it to wear out faster. During a (children's) party, it can happen that the work gets dirty. We have a number of handy cleaning tips to clean it. Click on this link and then on the following question: Is the material easy to clean?

Flame retardant
The material has a B1 certificate for fire safety. This is a certificate that is used as a standard in Europe. This means you do not have to worry about fire safety. This also helps make it suitable for use in public spaces.

No harmful substances
A big advantage is that the artworks are so soft and touchable. You can pet or cuddle them without any problems. This is possible because the material does not emit any harmful particles. Too much petting or cuddling can cause the work to get dirty, so keep this in mind ;).
